Sustainability
What is Sustainability? Sustainable development is the development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. For many in the field, sustainability is defined through the following interconnected domains or pillars: environment, economic and social. In recent years, more and more organizations are taking the responsibility to do their part in providing a positive impact on our environment, how we run our business and the carbon footprint we are leaving behind. One.7, Inc., is committed to doing our part in ensuring we are Sustainable.One.7, Inc., is situated on a 29-acre property that is located in the Cascade foothills, just southeast of Seattle, WA. We are surrounded by forests, natural lakes, watersheds, streams and an abundant amount of wildlife, that can be seen daily in our yard and surrounding neighborhoods. The owners of our company grew up in this area and have a healthy respect for our community, preserving our lands and the ability to continue to enjoy this beautiful area for generations to come.
CWT
As a dealer selling a variety of these trucks, we learned there is a need for further education in stormwater maintenance and best practices. We teamed up with Clean Water ATS, which is an advanced stormwater treatment resource here in our local market. They help identify and train cities and local contractors on how to be knowledgeable and help the environment each and every day. We work with Clean Water ATS, who provides hands-on classes with CWT to educate those onsite who are responsible for maintaining best stormwater practices.Eco Lube
As an Equipment Dealer, that recycles used equipment as well as providing services on our customer’s equipment, we wanted to do a better job of reducing our carbon footprint as it pertained to hazardous fluids, such as engine oils, coolant and filters. One.7, Inc., has been using EcoLube Recovery (ELR) for several years now. ELR is a Northwest owned and operated company that is one of the Leaders in Environmentally Sustainable Practices. ELR is committed to providing recycling services that have a positive impact on our community’s environment. They strive to be a good neighbor that works and cooperates with city, county, state, and government regulators that are safeguarding our communities both today and in the future. They continue to work with our company on providing opportunities to reduce and recycle hazardous waste products that are used by our organization.Gap Vax
We are proud to be the GapVax Dealer for the Pacific Northwest Territories, selling their new line of trucks and equipment. If you visit the GapVax website, you will see first-hand, that they are on the cutting edge in producing Recycle JetVac trucks. GapVax partnered with Wiedemann GmbH, who launched the world’s first water recycling jetvac unit in Germany in 1977. GapVax spent a couple of years with Weidemann and their technology to produce an American Made truck that was launched in 2016. The greatest technical challenge to water recycling systems is the complete removal of abrasive sediments from the water. Many manufacturers in the industry have tried to solve this challenge but have fallen short. In contrast, Wiedemann Enviro Tech has spent over 40 years refining it’s recycle systems to achieve total removal of abrasive sediments. Offering this type of technology in the GapVax trucks has eliminated numerous carbon footprints. There is no drive times to the source of water, no additional costs in wages while drivers wait to fill vessels, numerous times throughout the day. These trucks save potable water requirements up to 100% daily, and up to 100% more work capacity every day through continuous operations. The GapVax Recycle JetVac saves 6.4 million gallons of water per truck per year. They are the Global leader in the technology of sewer cleaning vehicles with water recycling and we are thrilled to offer this option to our customers.Valley Girls & Guys
